For the
past three days I had been struggling with my own blood pressure’s abnormality.
This is due to my unhealthy living for the past months. Since I am busy at
work, engulf with my online study and excessive coffee and sleep late at night
having few hours of sleep. This concerns me a lot because currently I am the
only bread winner in my family and if something bad happen due to this not so
normal blood pressure, my family and loved ones will be the one who will most
likely to suffer.
I have
to take care of my health to survive this and be with my family in a healthy
living lifestyle. For now, I am monitoring my blood pressure with medication
along with herbal medicine drinking lukewarm lemon grass with ginger. Just this
afternoon my blood pressure seems normal. I have to do this not of being selfish or
whatsoever, I am just being careful. Sedentary lifestyle is now rampant and
being with the times. If people will not going to be mindful of their self,
their health will be put in danger and their family and love ones will most
likely to suffer.
Self-awareness
is not a talent or skills that a person must develop or hone, it is simply
being true and listen to our body (self) and all the indicators or mechanism we
have within it. Blood pressure in our veins is one of the many monitoring
system we have that we should not abuse.
Regular
consultation to a family doctor, proper medication, and healthy lifestyle will
soon come into fruition by simple being aware of certain indications from our
body. So, while it’s not too late and able to remedy this problem, it is worthy
taking the old saying that “prevention is better than cure”, so that to avoid
the worst. Proper eating habits in this challenging lifestyle is highly
encourage.
